Barnaby appreciates life !

We went for a cycle along the canal this evening before dinner. The hot wind in my hair and the sound of wheels going round and round was extremely relaxing - infact so relaxing that I fell asleep!  Barnaby was glad to get back home again and to relax on daddy's sun-chair - he fell out of my arms and almost into the canal as I nodded off on the bike and then mam rolled over   him !!  Fortunately he is still alive.

A visit to the farm

We cycled to the farm to buy some vegetables this morning.  I said "Hello" to the cows grazing in the fields and had a look at the chickens but just for a short time because I'm a little afraid of them.  I'm looking forward to eating some delicious "petits pois" for lunch with chicken - which I  hope isn't one from the farm!!

Sunny evening

I like the long summer, sunny evenings.  I had lots of fun in the garden and on my slide until nine o'clock - I'm so exhausted that I'm sure I'll sleep in my own bed all night !

Hoping for sunshine

I hope the sun continues to shine when you come to stay - I'd like to do some picnicing with you again.

Up, bright and early

This morning I got up bright and early to go back to school after a week of being ill.  I had some time to do some colouring and dancing before heading off. Do you like my reindeer? His name is Rudolf.

Hello Sean!!

A big "HELLO"  to  Sean who's watching from Ireland !!!!
I'm watching you too!  I hope you're having a good day at school.

Budding artists

                                              Thelma 2 1/2 years

                                             Lucas 2 1/4 years

Nina and Saoirse,  my art was selected for an exhibition at my play school.  I didn't make it because I am sick but daddy went.  He said all the work was fantastic.  I think mine is good but I really like Lucas' flowers.  I hope to go back to school on Monday - I want to see the exhibition and mam does too.

Party at play school

We had a party at playschool this afternoon.  It was great fun.  First I did some painting, then I had a drink and watched Larbi paint. There were lots of games to play and we got tickets for taking part in each one.  I got a present for each ticket - we all loved the balls we got and jumped up and down with them.

Nina and Saoirse,
Michelle and Jean-Luc looked after me when I lived in Paris and I miss them very much.  I didn't have much hair at the time but Michelle used what I had to make the cutest little pig-tails you've ever seen!  I am very proud to have enough hair to make plats now.

Happy bitrhday daddy!

It is my daddy's birthday today.  We gave him a present - a sunchair for relaxing in the garden this summer.  I tried it first and then gave my him a go - He liked it.  I plan on sharing it with him!

I like to soak in a hot, bubbly bath before going to bed. I lie on my back while the bath is filling up and stay that way until the bubbles get into my eyes. Then I turn over onto my belly and practice swimming. I think I'll be ready to swim the channel this summer!!

Chocolate cake.

We made an eggless chocolate cake this evening after playschool.  I put all the ingredients into a bowl and mixed and mixed until my arm was sore. We put it in the oven for thirty minutes and then had to wait another thirty for it too cool down (that was the hardest bit !) before tasting it. I had it for dessert with some yoghurt.  It was delicious  -  Yummmmmmmmyyyyy!
