I learnt a new song recently......

A parachute jump for Barnaby.

I sent Barnaby on a parachute jump off my slide this afternoon but he didn't like it at all. I think he's afraid of heights. He says that he prefers to be snuggled up quietly in bed with me.

A swingin' time!

I went to Paris to stay with Ariane, Philippe, Tom and Elsie. They have a swing in their garden and are great "pushers"! I just LOVE swinging backwards and forwards and backwards and forwards..... This Totem pole stands in their garden too - I found a little bit scary. Does it scare you?

If you go down to the woods today...........

..... you won't see many bears but you will see me and my daddy playing football and eating cheese and ham sandwiches! We had a Teddy Bears Picnic.

Getting there.....

Our green tomatoes are changing colour...... now yellow, soon red, then yummy, yummy in my tummy!

MOO!

This cow came to me all the way from Jersey. The postman had to squish him through the letter-box. He landed on the floor with a bump and said "Moo-ouch!". I picked him up, gave him a kiss and stuck him on the fridge where he seems to be very happy!

Célestine came to my house

I was to supposed to sleepover in Célestine's house tonight but it was cancelled. Célestine came to my house instead and we played all afternoon. She tried my bird hat on. She looks good in it doesn't she?

Papeir maché bowl.

Mam and I worked hard for five days making this papier maché bowl. I finished painting it red today and then stuck two of my favourite cartoon characters "Ratatouille" and "Linguini" on it. I'm going to use it to put crisps and other dry things into but I won't be putting any liquid in it because it would go soggy and fall apart!

A visit from Fiona.

Fiona came to our house for lunch. I prepared some peas for her which she liked a lot! We played in the garden until a thunder and lightning storm started and then snuggled up on the sofa together to watch Spongebob Squarepants.

Fire truck

I got to drive a fire truck at a fair. It went round and round and round and I beeped and beeped and beeped with joy!

Tomatoes

We planted some tomatoes in the garden in springtime. They are green for the moment. The sun shining on them will make them red and ready to eat....... I'm really looking forward to that!

Say "Cheese"!

I like taking photos with my camera - sometimes I ask people to say "Cheese" and other times I ask them to say "Eat your peas please Louise"!

Louise came to Lille

Louise came to visit me in Lille. She wore a funny hat and sat on my doll Obama! I had great fun squirting my joker-soaker at her and saying "Make my day!" like Norman Price from Fireman Sam.

School's out for summer!

School finished yesterday. I'm sad that I won't see my classmates again until September but very happy that I'm going to see you (Nina and Saoirse) in August :-)

School play 2009.

We did a school play called "Le Jardin" (the garden). I was a bird (that's me on the far left of the photo). We were all a little nervous about being on stage but absolutely loved the applause at the end of the show. Our teacher was very proud of us. I hope we do another play next year.

A weekend at Vincelottes in Burgandy

I went to Burgandy to see Eléonore and Gustave.  We went for lots of walks, swam in a big swimming pool and napped together every day.  It was a great weekend. I hope to see them again soon.

Aujourd'hui ma copine Célestine est venue passer la journée avec nous. Nous avons fait du toboggan à Kidzy et nous avons ensuite pique-nique au soleil. J'ai passé une très bonne journée.

My Friend Célestine came to play with me today.  We went to Kidzy where we had a go on the big slide and then had a picnic in the sun.  I had a great day with her.

Musical dinner!

Pots, pans, cups and glasses filled with water make great musical instruments when I get bored cooking dinner!

Ouch!!

We went birdwatching along the canal today.  I saw four Herons and a Coot.  I ran too fast and fell.  Ouch! I hurt my knee.......

A visit from grand-père André

My grand-père Andrè came to visit me this weekend.  I put on my best clothes and some flashy jewellery to look pretty for him. I showed him all the work I did at school and think I impressed him :-)

The closest I'm allowed to get to cats is from behind glass (because of my allergies) but the doctor says that that might change in a few years - I really hope it does.....
